It’s been a couple of months now since four model homes opened at Stepping Stone. Quite a few people have crossed these brand new thresholds — and shared their comments with us.
So what’s the feedback?
Well, it all depends on your lifestyle. Families with young children tend to appreciate the loft area in Plan 3507, which can double as a playroom. It’s adjacent to both the secondary bedrooms (ideal for early morning playtime while parents sleep late…in a perfect world, anyway) and it overlooks the living spaces below, keeping the whole family connected, even while the adults are cooking dinner or hanging out below.
Families with elderly parents gravitate toward Plan 5004, with its fifth bedroom safely located on the main floor, complete with full bathroom. With the master and other bedrooms upstairs, grandparents enjoy a sense of privacy along with convenience.
People who frequently entertain comment most on all the plans’ impressive kitchens and big islands, where everyone has plenty of space to eat and chat. They also like the open floor plans that keep the chef close to the action in the connecting family rooms. (No wasted space in unused, formal living rooms, either.)
And everyone seems to appreciate all the extra touches: walk-in showers, Corian bathroom counters and a fleet of other modern interior finishes, along with tile roofs and striking exterior stonework.
That’s the general trend of what we’ve heard to date. Now we’d like to hear from you. Send us your comments here. Or, if you haven’t seen the homes yet, stop by any day of the week.
