Parker CO recreation

This is only a small portion of the map of Parker Recreation options…

The Cherry Creek and Newlin Gulch Trails can take you to Challenger Park, where your kids can romp on two playgrounds, four soccer fields, three ball fields, or three inline skate rinks.

Or veer off at Salisbury Equestrian Park, where you can sometimes watch fancy horses strut their stuff, or take advantage of the park’s creative, non-traditional playground, picnic tables, barbeques, ball fields, and 30 acres of open space.

While a bit off the trail, you and your four-legged friends might want to spend a spring afternoon at Bayou Gulch Regional Park. Clocking in at an impressive 205 acres, this outstanding park includes a 2-acre off-leash dog area, as well as 4.68 miles of soft-surface trails.

Those are just three ideas for the next sunny day you’re free, but there are plenty more to explore on the map. So what are you waiting for?
