Time to test-drive your new swimsuit: Stepping Stone’s first pool party of the season is almost here. On Saturday, May 23, the Lantern House pool opens for summer. Stop by from 11am-2pm for a full roster of entertaining pool games and treats. Make the Lantern House your Memorial Day weekend HQ, hanging out with your family and neighbors—a much more relaxing choice than fighting the masses headed to the mountains. (Plan that trip for a non-holiday weekend.)
And be sure to jot down these dates for Stepping Stone’s Dive-In Movie Nights: June 6, July 25, and August 29 (weather permitting). Movies start at dusk, typically around 8:45. It’s an idyllic way to enjoy a summer evening—poolside, under the stars, watching a big screen movie with friends and family.
Here are a few photos from last summer to wet, er, whet your appetite for another season of great memories.
The “official” signs of summer: party games with beach balls, hula hoops, and, by the end of the day, happily exhausted children.
Splash pad … or launch pad?
Memories in the making. A neighborhood pool makes getting together with your buddies easy.
Chilly? Go warm up with a climb on the jungle gym next door. Sizzling? Cool off with a plunge in the pool. Repeat.
This place was designed with parties in mind. (Community or your own private affair.) The upstairs deck offers gorgeous views along with a firepit and comfortable seating.
The end of another beautiful day. Bubbles and balloon animals for the kids. A last bit of conversation for the grownups.
