“We love to tell people to buy Shea.”

If there were a Stepping Stone™ fan club, Pammy would surely be elected president. Her enthusiasm is contagious as she happily tells how she and fiancée Brad landed in the community last October.

Their journey began in January 2015, while combing through resale homes and other new builds in the Parker-Lone Tree area. They were living in a condo near C-470 and Kipling, but “We wanted to live between both our families, who live in Evergreen and Aurora,” says Pammy. And they wanted a doable commute to downtown, where they both work—Pammy in college admissions and Brad in student advisement. Their real estate agent mentioned that another client had been looking in Stepping Stone, and so the couple decided to look there, too.

They were immediately smitten. “We fell in love with the way the homes looked,” Pammy says. “The architecture fits our style, both modern and rustic.” They bought Plan 3507which has 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. “It piqued our interest with its openness. As soon as you walk in you have vaulted ceilings, natural light, and a sense of openness. It’s very inviting and bright,” Pammy explains.

Beyond the home, Stepping Stone just felt right. “It’s a perfect hop, skip, and a jump to Park Meadows and we’re just up the road from Parker Mainstreet. We’ve enjoyed exploring all the cool boutiques there.” But being at home has its own appeal, even for their dogs. Pammy and Brad have three “fur babies” who enjoy romping outside. “I love the fact that Shea Homes made this a dog-friendly community,” Pammy says. Along with all the parks and open spacethere’s a favorite big field in Stepping Stone with handy doggie stations.

Looking back at the purchasing process, Pammy and Brad have positive memories—hence the “we love to tell people to buy Shea” comment. Selecting a home site and building from dirt, they experienced the entire building process, which they describe as “really, really easy.” “The entire team at Shea was incredible,” says Pammy. “They were so helpful, friendly, and so knowledgeable that with their advice all the decisions became no-brainers. We really do love and appreciate them.”
