Nothing says October at Stepping Stone like the annual Fall Festival. Similar to the other year-round events already established here, the Fall Festival brings residents—both the young and young at heart—out to mingle and make memories. Held on Saturday, October 22, the “pumpkin patch” was located in the parking lot of the Lantern House, Stepping Stone’s community center.
And they’re off! Every family was invited to take home their favorite pumpkin.

That moment when you realize the pumpkin weighs almost as much as you do.
Securing the perimeter. A tough job, but these gentlemen were up to the task.

Hot chocolate always brings a smile. Lattes and cocoa, compliments of the Espresso Affair’s copper cart.
At the adjacent playground, families took advantage of the warm, sunny day.
Halloween costumes ran the gamut from cute little lambs to superheroes to “maybe next year.”
