Your Egg-celent Source for Easter Ideas

Easter is coming up, and many of us will be searching online for ideas and recipes featuring eggs. You can dye an egg, boil an egg, poach an egg, scramble an egg, or serve it sunny-side up. There are just as many ways to serve an egg as there are to serve chicken. (Which one was served first?) If you’re hosting people in your Stepping Stone home for Easter, or looking for the perfect way to get out of the house, we have suggestions for you.

Egg-centuate your Easter eggs
Turn your Stepping Stone home into an art studio for creating Easter eggs that would make any Easter Bunny proud. Whether you’re looking for projects for the kids, the grandkids, or even just yourself, check out one of Stepping Stone’s recent Pinterest pins for a few above-average egg dying ideas.

Eggs-pecting Guests?

Need a recipe that will wow your guests, but not take too much time? Don’t worry, Martha Stewart and the Stepping Stone blog have you covered. Give baked eggs in tomato parmesan sauce a try. This simple but el-egg-ant recipe only takes 15 minutes to prep and 25 to bake.

Pick Your Own Easter Egg-venture

Looking to get out of your beautiful Stepping Stone home over the Easter weekend? Enjoy one of the following events happening around town.

Start your weekend by hopping over to the Children’s Museum of Colorado for a Bunny Trail EggVenture. Enjoy the “Eggsploration Station,” story time with the Easter bunny, and lots of spring arts and crafts.

Want to leave behind the amenities of home? Take a short trip to Golden on Saturday, April 15 and hop on board the Bunny Express. The Colorado Railroad Museum hosts this event from 10am-4pm, which showcases an actual 1880s vintage passenger car.

Didn’t get enough Colorado beauty on Saturday? Rise and shine early Sunday, April 16, for the annual Red Rocks Sunrise Service. This spectacular event draws thousands every year. Gates open at 4:30a.m. and guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items for the Food Bank of the Rockies.

From the Stepping Stone Community to you and yours, Happy Easter!
