JUNE IS THE GATEWAY TO SUMMER

Are you looking forward to outdoor cookouts, trips to the mountains, baseball games, and family reunions this summer? Maybe you’re shopping for a new home that’s close to everything? Well, let the festivities begin! June’s arrival signifies that summertime is officially here. The kids are eagerly anticipating their summer break and the pool at the Lantern House is open every day. With so many wonderful things to do in Stepping Stone, it’s a good thing we have longer days of sunshine to take advantage of them.

PARKER DAYS FESTIVAL

June 8 – June 11

Parker Days Festival is an outdoor celebration in downtown Parker featuring music, a farmer’s market, ferris wheels, parades, beer gardens, an inflatable race track, food trucks, and more. The music showcase kicks off Thursday night with ‘80s cover band 6 Million Dollar Band and headliner Bret Michaels (lead singer for Poison!). This year’s festival also features the first-ever Miss Parker Days Pageant. Come join the fun!

 

WINE WALK

Friday, June 23, 5-8pm

Enjoy wine samples provided by Parker Area Chamber merchants and learn more about the goods and services they provide. The Wine Walk takes place in downtown Parker once a month from May to October. Tickets are $15 and include 10 one-ounce samples of wine, a wine glass, and a Wine Walk map. You must be 21 years of age or older to participate.

MOVIES IN THE PARK

Saturday, June 24, 6-11pm

This family-friendly event takes place at O’Brien Park and features games, vendors, music, concessions, and a FREE movie, “Sing”. Come early to reserve your space. Film begins at dusk.
