Stepping Stone is all about fresh starts, too. Fresh new housing, fresh new events and activities for our residents, and a fresh new blog post for 2018! And if one of your goals this year is to throw more parties and host more events, remember that our Lantern House is available!

LESSONS AND LEMONADE

Saturday, January 13, 1-3pm, Hobby Lobby

The Parker Artists Guild will sponsor two Lessons and Lemonade classes per month for students in grades 4-8 (ages 9-14) at the Hobby Lobby in Parker. Cost is $5 per child and registration is required.

CANCER CARE AND TREATMENTS SEMINAR

Tuesday, January 16, 5:30-6:30pm, Parker Adventist Hospital

This FREE seminar is taught by Dr. Brita Mutti, a naturopathic oncologist. Comprehensive cancer care is an approach that cares for the whole patient and all of an individual’s needs, not just their medical and physical needs.

Head over to Hudson Gardens and get your sweat on. Take it “easy” with a leisurely five-miler, or challenge yourself to complete 10 miles, all before noon. Register here.  

NATIONAL WESTERN STOCK SHOW

Saturday, January 6-21, National Western Complex

Yee-haw! Explore Colorado’s wild western roots at this two-week event, including barrel racing, bull riding, western art shows, and petting zoos for cowboys and cowgirls! Snag a deal for two to attend the Rodeo Finals on Jan. 6, or catch an event any time during the two-week ride-a-thon. Horse around with the entire family!

TEEN ART STUDIO

Saturday, January 27, 1-3pm, Hobby Lobby

The Parker Artists Guild will sponsor two Teen Art Studio classes for students in grades 8-12 (ages 14-18) at the Hobby Lobby in Parker. Cost is $5 per teen and registration is required.
